I agree. The band up/down is really slow. I use the same memory system, although there are times that the press of the M>V button doesn't "take" and I start sending some message. PITA when the amp is on the wrong band.
Either that or I hit the V>M button by mistake, for which there needs to be a "cancel" function. This radio needs some "quick memories" like Kenwood uses.
