Between '"bare" (or minimally enclosed) packaging option,' 'user's own weatherproof enclosure,' and mention of "average' climates' weatherproofing, it's not clear if Elecraft will offer a remote weatherproof enclosure which might do for a large percentage of users non-extreme climates. I'll not attempt to define extreme.
