That, combined with careful attention to AGC settings, made what was already the best radio I've owned even better. Many thanks to those of you who took the time to explain to the group how the AGC settings work and interact. This is the first radio I've owned that has adjustable AGC beyond ON/OFF, Slow/Fast, and it is amazing. As I tune the bands now I have cw signals popping out of an almost silent background--it's just great. I would never have figured it out with this group. Now, when the tower and quad go up in a few weeks...look out world!
