Fldigi will probably fill the bill except for the DX spotting which it doesn't support but does support callsign lookup and providing information to the PSK Reporter Web site. Fldigi also has two different ways of supporting the K3, one through its internal RigCAT protocol and the other by way of Hamlib which is a separate project and is staticly linked into the Fldigi download on Windows. I have just recently begun to improve the K3 support in Hamlib and these improvements will be in the next release, 1.2.13 (no release date is known at this point, likely around the first of next year). With these improvements, Hamlib's PKTUSB and PKTLSB modes are used by Fldigi for displaying the proper difference between USB and LSB AFSK modes (in Fact DATA A is use by each of these Hamlib modes). For those running Linux and who would like to beta test the new code, please contact me and I'll provide further details and where to get a daily source code snapshot to compile and test against. I would also like to hear from K2 owners who are using Hamlib as some of the new code will affect it as well. 73, de Nate >> -- "The optimist proclaims that we live in the best of all possible worlds.
