I don't have resonant antennas for the WARC bands. I have a sloping V [41m on each leg] fed with ladder line to a 4:1 balun at the bottom of the tower and coax into the shack. Works good on 30m and 40m, not so much on 80m [cloud warmer]. Was playing around with APF looking for weak signals and ran across YJ0HA on 24892. KAT3 matched the V to 1:1, worked him at 100W in about 2 mins. He's currently S3 and building with the preamp on. Sort of readable without the APF, with the APF I can hear him with the cans on the desk.
