One of the three new K3's we just purchased for use at our state RACES station has no TX audio. All three were unpacked today, and, the first one to see the light of day (and, an antenna) doesn't know it has a mic attached to it. The PTT works, just no audio at all into the rig. Nothing heard via the monitor, no ALC action, nada. The transmitter is working as it generates 100W of CW. We just have no audio.
The other two K3's worked just fine when hosed up to the same mic. I've had the ops walk thru the quick set-up chart a couple of times with the same result each time.
