Oscar,

Remove the board from the KX1 top cover and check to see if the MCU chip 
is firmly seated in its socket.  The narrow portion of the leads should 
be fully engaged with the socket.  It takes a bit of pressure to seat 
this IC.  Use your thumbs on the top of the chip and your fingers under 
the board - press firmly.
