I have had K3 and 1K-FA combo for over 2 years. I also use Kenwood CAT to make the amp follow the radio. I do not use QSK and use headphones in the contests so the noise from fans problem and hot switching when QSK problem is not my worry. I think K3 and Expert is one very good combination.
