SWR Meter Indication
Example: Utilizing TUNE at 12 Watts, my K3 indicates a 1.2 SWR with a particular antenna. The reading is the same on the bar graph meter and the numerical readout. When modulating in SSB with 100 Watts, the SWR bar indicator is somewhat variable showing peaks as high as 2:1 SWR and levels on down to 1.2:1. I seem to recall at one time someone suggested this was a computational artifact. Can the digital equivalent of meter dampening be applied to the SWR indicator? Is this a good or bad idea? 73, Dick - KA5KKT ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
