Curt, The answer is "yes", although I suspect that you are not going to like it. If you are getting Hi Cur warnings on SSB, I suspect that you have something wrong on CW as well.
normally HiCur warnings are associated with T4 or the Low Pass Filter - or low power supply voltage. Is this confined to one or two bands? If so, the low pass filter for that band is suspect. If it occurs on all bands, then T4 is the more likely suspect. Did you decide to wind T4 for the "greater efficiency at 5 watts" ratio? If so, that ratio is not usable at powers over 5 watts and is not usable for SSB - in fact, the PA will not operate in a linear fashion with that turns ratio, and at powers over 5 watts, the PA is more inefficient than with the standard winding ratio.
