Many thanks to Bill, W4ZV, for providing the LVL CAL instructions in his Nov. 11 reflector message. I did the calibration using an XG-2 both before and after doing the IF output mod in my older K3.
Before the mod, my transfer gain was -21 dB, which I think should have been -18 dB because I have a 3 dB Rx antenna splitter in line with my XG-2. After the IF output mod, my transfer gain is -8.3 dB.
