I tried using my beverages with the K3 for the first time this evening. When I transmit (100w...no amp), the output on the K3 goes nuts and starts peaking up well above 100 w. It kept doing it until I disconnected the beverage and power cycled the K3. I know I am not the only fellow using beverages (closest point to transmit antenna is 150 feet). I have never had this problem with other radios. How are others setting up for RX antennas?
