Ron, That would have been difficult to spot via email. Sometimes it just takes looking in the K3 and at the menu settings to figure something like that out. That is one of the frustrations that can be encountered when you buy someone else's radio. Figuring out how they had it set up and why is often difficult. That is why I recommend a complete reading of the manual (especially the menu section) for any used radio that one purchases.
