Hello Edward, From marketing point of view, if the noise cacelling mechanism were eventually implemented in K3 successfully, the sales of KRX3 option would rocket up, wouldn't it?

I was only thinking of the diversity discussion that David, AB7E, refers to and thinking there was another approach to obtaining noise reduction or nulling without spending more cash for a dedicated piece of hardware. Interesting to me is the two approaches: one RF analog and the other in software. SDR is offering lots of solutions to old problems in sw. That can either reside in firmware on the radio or exported to a computer to be run. In my EME pursuits both approaches have been done. Interesting ideas to explore. That Elecraft is interested/willing to explore new solutions reinforces to me my good decision to purchase a K3.
