A few years back, I was driving my co-workers nuts with an Outlook
hack I wrote that would play the sender and subject of each incoming
message out my speaker in cw :). Years earlier, I'd written a plugin for
TinyFugue that would send what each person said in the "chat room" out in
cw, with different pitch, speed, weight, and swing assigned to each of the
"regulars" :).
Every so often, I get this crazy notion to put a morse code BBS on
the air :). It would scan a range of freqs looking for someone calling
it, come back to them, offer the usual public/private mail options, and
otherwise interact entirely in cw. No reason why it couldn't handle more
than one user at once. 'course given all of my other hobbies, I'll
probably never get to it ... which is probably a good thing :).

correct than to just type stuff in a letter at a time without it, but
of course, still slower than morse input. LOL...I'll be a real
case...morse PDA, talking cellphone (see www.mobilespeak.com) ... I
love gadgets :)
Oh, and of course my KX1 :) Can't forget the KX1!
BTW, good point Wayne re: morse being good for motor impairments. I
know tht there've been alternative input devices of that sort for some
time, but it seems they, too, are (unfortunately) falling out of
favor. A shame, too.
