Not neccessarily. The bane of operators with a pileup (DXpedition or contest) are the stations that all call on the same frequency, often zero-beat with the called station. This makes signals VERY hard to distinguish from one another. It's most usually caused by everyone clicking on a station in a bandmap derived from a cluster of some kind. Be a more successful operator and offset your VFO by a few cycles (OK, hz), so you'll stand out from the crowd.
