Well after only two days [!] of playing it goes like this in my book.....K3
then TS 590 then the Eagle, BUT, as the famous expression goes, I would hate to
live on the difference. Because of the simplicity of operation, the Eagle is a
fun radio and would make some mobile rig. I am afraid that one has to use the
radios to make ones own choice. There are lots of things that are subjective
here. I caution anybody reading this that the K3 gets extra points for its
unique expandability which the TS and Eagle do not have. The performance of
all three is truly outstanding. When making your choice consider the Ten Tec
30 day return policy. If you buy the TS sight unseen and try to return it, you
maybe out big bux. At this level of performance it is no longer the
performance of the radios they are all great and much more than the typical ham
needs, its things like.....service.....ergonomics...fit and feel...human
interface.....computer
friendliness...etc.
Choose carefully ...... we hams are the winners. Competition is great. I will
keep playing
