Eric, The zero-beat must be at whatever pitch you have set for the sidetone on the K3 - it does not matter what that pitch may be, the results should be the same.
The data sheet information may be entered using K3Utility, but I *believe* you still have to use Method 2 to set the center for the reference. The data sheet only provides variation with temperature, not an absolute setting. The Method 3 has not bee implemented yet because the reference oscillator temperature accuracy is better than the spec without it.
