Now that 4.22 is an official release, I loaded it into my K3 4290 tonight. After having read so much about the APF I couldn't wait to try it. I must admit, I was a bit concerned it wouldn't live up to the hype. I needn't have worried. It's everything I'd hoped it would be. I had a Drake 2B with the Q-multiplier back in the day and I think the K3 implementation is even more effective. It's fun to tune in a heterodyne and then tune the APF through the big fat peak just to get an idea of what it can do. Many thanks and Kudos to the Elecraft team for a job well-done.
