Kjeld, Go to the store and purchase a spray can of Static Guard - or by whatever name it is in your country. It is the product that the ladies would use to keep their static charged garments from clinging. Spray that on your clothing, chair and work area. The improvised wrist strap that others have suggested is also a good idea - be certain to add the resistor for your safety.
