Hi, Not so sure. That would require the 12W (pre)amp in the K3 to run full tilt. I seem to remember from the QST review of the K3/10 that it wasn't super clean at full power either. It's well known that both these amps get significantly cleaner when run at 50% or less which is what they would do driving the KPA500 to full power.
