I can't seemed to see this posted elsewhere so I'm just wondering if it might be a problem at my end, if someone else can confirm this please.
Key transmit then tap the Main Menu then scroll to TX EQ tap the Main Menu button again to return to normal, I now find that when I go back to receive the receive frequency has shifted HF by 1.6KHz, this is most disconcerting when the QSO has effectively vanished. Luckily the station I was working was strong and I noticed the edge of his signal so I was able to tune him in with the RIT. The transmit frequency remains the same, it's only the the receive frequency that shifts. When the radio is turned off then back on again it all reverts back to normal. I have confirmed this is happening with my signal generator. Are you not supposed to fiddle with those menu controls when transmitting? I had a look in the manual but couldn't see anything mentioning that, but I might have missed it. It's not a huge problem when I know about it. -- View this message in context: http://elecraft.365791.n2.nabble.com/TX-EQ-oddity-tp5871397p5871397.html Sent from the [K3] mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
