Implementation of Method 3 would improve the stability of all K3s, not only those with the optional TCXO.
Calculation of a drift-correction table via repeated Method 1 or 2 calibrations (as the K3 warms up) can be performed by the owner for any reference oscillator, whether stock or optional.
