Hello Jeff,

I would wonder whether the PR6 can be installed inside the K3 main body similar
to the K144XV.  This will possibly tidy up the cabling.

In fact, in the thread of KPA500, I did ask the possibily of having a 6 m
preamp
built inside the KPA500.  Without the PR6, K3 is relatively deaf in 50Mhz and I
currently use my Icoms for 6 m operation.  I have noticed some 6m band openings
recently from VK to VR2.

 cheers,

Johnny VR2XMC

Hi Jamie,
Why not just make a couple of short (6") BNC to BNC cables using some RG58?
Thats what I did here with no detectable signal degredation and a whole lot
less
room taken up behind the rig.

  Subject: [Elecraft] BNC adapter question

  Hello:

I received the PR-6 6M preamp for Christmas. I have found that it eats up a
lot of shelf space hanging in the back as it does. I thought it might work
if I could flip it up, but I can't seem to find a BNC right angle M-M
adapter. Does anyone know if these exist or have other ideas ? I guess I
could make a couple small cables and slip it under the radio.
