Hello Jeff, I would wonder whether the PR6 can be installed inside the K3 main body similar to the K144XV. This will possibly tidy up the cabling.
In fact, in the thread of KPA500, I did ask the possibily of having a 6 m preamp built inside the KPA500. Without the PR6, K3 is relatively deaf in 50Mhz and I currently use my Icoms for 6 m operation.
