The issue of the erroneous S meter readings has been an issue (for me at least) since I updated from firmware 3.97. I like all the new features in the later firmwares but I would appreciate getting our real S meter readings back on 2M. (Case in point, the local FM repeater here shows as 60db over 9 on any other radio BUT the K3, it only shows the repeater as S9+5db on a good day and S9 on most other days) I have tried two different K144XV's with the same result.
