Recently I had a microphone problem with my K2 which resulted from a dry joint on the SSB board. I cured the problem but in the process of reassembly the rigs audio took a dive. The only two units that I had removed were the SSB unit and the 100 Watt PA. The rig is receiving ok because I can see the S meter. However receiver audio is very low and this includes the sidetone level which I have set at 60. I have plugged in the original speaker directly (omitting the 100W PA). However the audio is still low. This is a mystery to me because everything was fine until I repaired the microphone problem and reassembled the K2. Anybody got any ideas?
