With the re-occurring questions about "How do I use my XXXXX microphone 
with my K2/K3, this is not at all an OT subject.

My personal thanks to G4WPW for compiling this wealth of information 
about microphones and transceiver mic jack pinouts.   I believe this is 
a "labor of love" that deserves many thanks from the ham community at large.

His webpage has been a lifesaver for me in many instances, particularly 
with the K2 with its configurable microphone configuration header that 
can accomodate many different microphone pinouts.  I have adapters for 
most of the popular mic pinouts that I use everyday at my workbench.
