Having a K3 without an antenna tuner is like buying a car without air
conditioning. While you may not need it today, you might someday. And, if
you ever want to sell it, it will be worth more with it than without it.

P.S. I don't always use my internal tuner, but I have used the tuner a
couple of times and it works great.
