Both the TS-570 and TS-870 use an 8.83 MHz IF. Go into the P3's "Xcvr Sel" menu and select "8830 kHz (inverted)".
The TS-870 does have a wide-band IF output connector, but I believe you'll have to modify the TS-570 to add one.
