Good Evening,
There was a little contest activity nearby when the first net started
but it was not a problem. Conditions were good with very little noise.
Just a little flutter on a few stations. The second net was a little
noiser with rather more QSB.
During the first net I had a pleasant surprise. John, W6SU, mentioned
he was checking in with Pete Hoover's K3. It was nice to hear the call
W6ZH once again. I am glad Pete's rig wound up in good hands and will get
used on a regular basis. Thank you John.

I just got a note from Scott, N0AR, who mentioned he could not hear me
on twenty meters. He also mentioned there is another snow storm in
progress over the St. Paul area. He expects another 18" of snow by the
time it is done. They had record levels of snow before the end of 2010.
Now they are only adding to it. Ken, W0CZ, has been feeding sand bag
fillers in Fargo awaiting their spring flood. If all of this snow melts
too quickly there will be a lot of records broken all over the Midwest.
Here the snows have not been too deep but the lowlanders will be getting
their share on Wednesday. I plan to be happily sitting next to a roaring
fire writing code on a laptop. I don't want any part of their furious
antics during those times.
    Until next week stay well,
       73,
Kevin. KD5ONS (Net Control Operator 5th Class)
