FWIW you might want to check that you have mot accidentally swapped the 4 meg and 5.??? meg xtals on the control board...from memory as I am away from the K2 manual, the error means that the microprocessor on the Control Board cannot talk to the one on the one on the RF Board. I had accidentally swapped the xtals and it took me a while to find the error. Not being able to hear the 4Mhz xtal on a shortwave receiver pointed me to the problem.I swapped them over and the problem was cured.....Hope this helps...Steve
