Went for the K2. The K3 was not in production at that time. But even if it was, I would go for the K2.
Went for it because of 3 reasons. 1st: and Top reason - receiver specs. 2nd: Unit size - Its not a desk hog :) 3rd: Kit form makes for enticing price structure I'm really glad I did! I have had a number of inferior rigs for many years of shoe-string cw only operation. The K2 has raised my fun-meter significantly :) The designing under-the-hood is the product of genius!
