Well, the signal you see within the U-shaped cursor is the signal that *will* pass through the first I.F. (roofing) filter but, as you note, the I.F. is being sampled before actually passing through the to show the signals outside of the filter bandwidth.

If that is the case then I am assuming that the signal within the frame of the cursor is not a signal that has passed through my roofing filters.
