As others commented, there are a number of plastic polishing products on the market.
For small surface scratches, including those that make the plastic look hazy, go down to your local Auto Parts store and get the stuff used to clear the plastic covers over headlights on cars. Mothers makes one what works very well for me. It's very similar to the stuff used to polish aircraft windscreens. If it's severely damaged, consider Micro Mesh. They make a little kit that has everything you need to handle severe repairs on a fairly small surface (less than a car windshield in size :-). It's worked well for me.
