Hi Duane, No, the KPA500 isn't in production that I'm aware of, but will be "soon".
I'm just getting prepared. I've already made a dust cover for one of the beta testers, and have a number of responses to my question that indicate plans to purchase dust covers and/or carrying cases by future KPA500 purchasers. 73!
