Hi,
Can anyone share their experience using a K2 as part of a SO2R station and
especially for RTTY. Seems with it's sensitive receiver, at least on receive,
it would be a good choice. I realize it is limited to AFSK only. The RTTY
filters can be narrowed to 4-500 Hz. There has been considerable discussion in
the past about operating high duty modes at power up to 100 watts. I've never
understood if that is a real or imagined limitation.
The other radio would be a K3.
