Thanks Pete, I have used filters on telnet nodes such as VE7CC, which does read my filters. Unfortunately I cannot get the filtering to work within HRD/LogV5. In any case, I am interested in finding out more about skimmers as well, that is for copying code as well as spotting. There is the possiblilty of going to SDR-IQ, but I can't figure out how to share one antenna or how to keep the P3 online. I have read your other posts concerning the K3 and SDR-IQ, but that was about using it instead of the P3 for a panadapter.
..mike **************** Another solution, particular given your antenna restrictions, is to connect to the Reverse Beacon Network's telnet node and then tell the node to filter out all spots except those in your immediate area - depending on where you are there is probably a Reverse Beacon nearby. Try telnet.reversebeacon.net port 7000 or arcluster.reversebeacon.net port 7000, depending on whether you are more comfortable with DXSpider or ARCluster filter commands.
