I was just pondering if I could use my K2 for transverter operation at 29.4 MHz, despite the specified upper frequency limit on 10m being 28.8 MHz. On my unit, at least, the VCO still works. I can hear signals but it seems they are probably a bit attenuated. Does anyone have real data on how much the bandpass and low pass filters roll off above 28.8 MHz ? Are there any nasty spurious signals to be aware of ?
