I just installed the optional spinner dimple on K2 4890.. Wow, two thumbs up! Yeeehaw!
OBTW, 4890 is completed minus the option boards. I am very pleased with it's performance both xmt & rcv. Thanks to both Gary Surrency and Tom Hammond for the helpful correspondence. I get a LOT of entertainment out of building Elecraft kits.. they are an extremely good value when you calculate in the fun times spent building them. I can't wait till Elecraft releases a second generation upscale to the K2.. It will be an absolute must have!
