I recently switched my K1 from wide VFO tuning (150KHZ) back to narrow
(80 khz) and have noticed
a bit of VFO drift since I did this. I am wondering if anyone else
using the narrow tuning range is also
seeing this. I usually use my KX1 and perhaps I am just a bit spoiled
as with the DDS VFO it is
rock solid. When I did the changeover on the VFO I did wonder about
swapping out a polystyrene
capacitor and replacing it with a disk capacitor. Any comments on this.
Has anyone replaced this
particular cap with an equivalent polystyrene for the narrow tuning
range?
