I do recall responding to a query on their website about whether they should continue to provide shortwave broadcasting in this era of internet radio. To answer the question previously asked, that's a homebrew superhet sitting above the K2. It was a "test bed" project that I created to explore receiver design issues such as mixer configurations, ladder filter design and AGC systems. It's also a pretty decent CW receiver for station use. I had originally planned a matching transmitter, but work interrupted me for several years and the next thing I knew there was a K2/100 in my future <G>. Thanks for the link, Frank!
