Mike, I have the ones for the K2 and K3. David was very good to work with on the K3 plates. Since he did not have any at the time, I sent him my stock side plates and he made the new ones using those as a template. He returned the stock plates with the new thicker plates. The new parts give both the K2 and K3 a little more stiffness and weight, plus a nice look. Could not be happier with David's work...
Now, this was right after I got my K3, #98. So, it has been a while. Not sure what the status of the company is now. 73, Henry Pollock - K4TMC K2/100 #3137 & K3/100 #98 -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Sent: Mon, Apr 18, 2011 5:22 pm Subject: [Elecraft] K3 custom extended sides Has anyone had dealings with Saylors Machine Shop and ordered the extended sides for the K3? My email to David Saylors bounced, and a phone call got rerouted to a different business answering machine.
