Keith, I just purchased a K3/P3 combo on eBay for just under $3000. The rig is a K3/100, s/n 281, with general coverage receiver, auto tuner, 600 Hz filter, which the seller built himself. The P3 was factory-assembled. He also included the Heil ProSet-2 head phones and all necessary cables. Just thought this might help provide you benchmark for the numbers you seek.
