The below was posted last July. I just experienced the same problem (for no apparent reason) that Bruce described, only my problem affected LSB only. I tried disabling and then re-enabling FL1 in LSB using the K3 utility -- no help. I did not do a reset; the RESTORE CONFIGURATION resulted in normal operation.
