Some questions for the assembled experts: 1. Exactly what does the "K3 QRQ" setting do?
2. I can copy the guys sending fast in my head, I don't know why, I come from a record copy background [i.e. "mill"]. It just sounds like words and phrases to me. I can't send anywhere near that fast. Someone [Tommy?] mentioned keyboard programs. Names? 3. I use a WinKeyUSB with N1MM to key my K3 in contests. What do you QRQ guys use? Will mine work? Once [trust me, only once!], as a 16yr old at a coastal marine station, I told a ship RO "QRQ", he was running about 10 wpm on a straight key, and not doing it well. I figured, he'd probably move to the bug and would do a lot better, and he had a long list. He replied at about 45 WPM. My record copy speed then was about 28, maybe 30 if I felt really good, which was rare, the Old Guys tended to beat up on the kid.
