I use M1-M4 on each band as follows: M1 = CW default frequency (usually the band edge) and BW = 400 Hz
M2 = SSB default freq (i.e. 14.195) and BW = 2.8 KHz M3 = PSK default freq, Mode = Data A and BW 2 KHz M4 = RTTY default freq, Mode = AFSK A and BW = 250 HZ. That's what I would like to do anyway. The problem is, M3 and M4 do not remember the correct BW setting. Regardless what is stored, if I for instance recall M4 (RTTY) after having just stored all of this in sequence, I will get the memorized 250 Hz BW. If I then recall M3, I will have the *same* 250 Hz BW, not the expected 2 KHz BW previously stored in M3. Apparently, my K3 isn't smart enough to know that Data A and AFSK A are different modes so recalling one or the other recalls the last used BW. Am I missing something? ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
