All: Actually, this is a very good question and a good idea!
If the modes are not available to the radio configuration, why do they appear as selections when you scroll through the modes? The panel display should not show the disabled modes. It makes reasonable sense from an operator's standpoint that if you "disable" the modes in the software, that the mode selections on the front panel display and the selector scroll points be disabled as well. Can this be done? It makes logical sense to me! And it would speed up mode selection from the front panel. -lu-w4lt- K3 # 3192 Thanks for the points in FlQP! If i don't use AM and i don't have AM filters i can save a pulsation in the mode key each time i cycle from mode to mode. It is not important. I see a FM dissable option in the menu. I was thinking if no filters is selected for AM in the menu. Why can i select AM? This was my question. ______________________________________________________________ Elecraft mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/elecraft Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htm Post: mailto:[email protected] This list hosted by: http://www.qsl.net Please help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
