The best approach to a digital radio or a complex GPS Navigation System in a
small aircraft is to 1) leave it alone if you don't know what it does   2)or
Get an Instructor.

Frankly it's easier to learn to fly than to be proficient on these brilliant
radio sets that do way more than necessary.

The only rule in a radio is to be able to hear the station in order to work
it. That our K3's do brilliantly. Start there and leave the bells and
whistles alone!

We don't use 99% of the capabilities of our computers, we shouldn't expect
to do that with our radios either.

Relax fellows. It's supposed to be fun!
