Wow Mike, that's really bad luck and very frustrating. I've been about to order a KPA500 to go with my K3, but after your story, I might hang back a while. Bad news about having to ship your amp back, but not as expensive has having to ship it back to the US from down here. I wouldn't like to have to face that cost. But what puts me off the most is that there are "mods/upgrades" being done to serial # 26. I might wait a while before hitting the order button.
Hope all gets sorted out for you Mike.
