Unfortunately, the ionosphere has staged a sick-out, and so far the much-anticipated WPX is something of a fizzle. The clusters are spotting mostly K/W, and I hear a lot of stateside stations working each other. The bands from 20 up have been miserable, not even the usual Euros coming through to my qth in Missouri. Last night around the time that there are ordinarily a dozen or more Russians booming in here, only one weak one was to be heard. I guess my crowing (around the equinox) about the resurging cycle must have jinxed everything.
